Recently while driving south on Rt390 I noticed the gauges of my motorhome telling me that the engine was overheating. After pulling off the next exit,Avon, and into the first driveway at Genesee Valley Chrysler Jeep, I got out to see antifreeze dripping out. I walked into the dealership and although they did not normally service a diesel of this type, the service manager offered to help me any way that he could. They sent out a mechanic who crawled, on the wet ground, under the motor home. He verified that my fan belt was broken and checked all of the pulleys to see if they were operating smoothly. Although they did not have the facilities to help us, they offered me the use of their office and phone as well as making suggestions on local companies that might be able to help. In a few short hours we had the problem repaired and were back on our way. It just makes me wonder; If this is how well they treat a stranded motorist, how good do they treat their loyal customers? Salesperson was wonderful and took the time to explain everything, we had gone in looking for a used car for my son for college, she spoke to him as a real person, not just an 18 year old with no money. I didn't buy him a car but bought one for me based on her sales experience and gave him my 05 Explorer to use. Out of all the dealers she is the only salesperson who took the time to listen to my son and didn't ignore him to focus on the parents who were paying. Loved her.

Best dealership I have ever worked with.

It was much less painful than I anticipated. There was no pressure and no going back and forth with the "manager" as in days of old.

Salesman was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable. Double checked and responded immediately to questions we had re pulling car behind a mobile home. We felt no pressure and were comfortable throughout.
I had become sort of stranded in a store parking lot, on a Saturday at 4:45 p.m. and when I called the dealership and found out that they were open until 8 p.m. that evening I was in disbelief (but happy).Previous dealings with other dealerships, ages ago, were disappointing, because they closed at noon or 4 p.m. on a Saturday. I am so happy that in my instance GV Ford was open and they could fix the problem right there and then, after they gave me a few pointers to get my ignition to unlock, so I could get to the dealership to get the problem resolved! Keep up the good customer service!
I had never been to Genesee Valley Ford before. I called and spoke to Jim Spinelli before I made the drive down there. I was very impressed with Jim on and off the phone. He was very polite and professional with me. Jim showed me the "plans" available to Ford employees and their families. I didn't feel he was trying to "snow" me into anything at all. I know that Jim was trying to get the best loan for us. I was sitting there with him at his desk, I heard and watched him as he worked hard for us.
